Visual identity for Volkswagen’s/NORD DDB’s campaign “Let’s get Electric” and a vinyl cover for Rein’s new version of Leila K’s hit Electric from the 90’s. The campaign’s message is that the power of one single fully charged electric car would be enough for producing a full music video; from music production to set-design, light, recording and editing.
The visual expression interprets electric power as graphic design – where the typographic expression is the core, with yellow from electric signs, black from the dark Swedish forest and white from electric light. Movement, energy and dynamics is created by the yellow words and letters being broken apart. The logotype is transformed into a pattern – it’s electric.
